Partnering with Timmy Global Health at WashU

In honor of the United Nations’ World Health Day celebrated on April 7th, UNA Saint Louis partnered with Washington University at St. Louis’ Timmy Global Health program to supply them with contributions needed for their medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in June.

Timmy Global Healthis a non-profit organization that provides basic health care to communities in need.  They currently work in Ecuador, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and Nigeria. Their model offers opportunities to students and volunteers to address health challenges facing the communities they serve.  They empower their local partners with patient record management skills, as well as employ on-the-ground health workers to maintain year-round health care service.  To learn more about Timmy Global Health, view the following link:  https://vimeo.com/87834815  

UNA Saint Louis also partnered with Andrews Academy - Creve Coeur to collect ziploc bags trash bags, sanitary wipes, hand sanitizers, duct tape, alcohol swabs, lip balm, sunscreen, tooth brushes, tooth paste, sunglasses, batteries, coloring books & crayons, and Ace wraps.
